Reggie Martin
First Board
Reggie Martin is our 1st board player.  He is a very good chess player and spends much of his time playing and observing chess games.  He was once Louisiana state champion for his age group.  Reggie plays in tournaments in Danbury and spends much of his spare time on Chess.net.

James Smith is not that great a chess player, and therefore usually plays 6th or 7th board.  He has won one of the two games he has played.  His trademark is that he always starts off with a fools-mate like opening, which usually evolves into something more advanced.  He is also the webmaster for this site.

Ben ALexander
4th Board
Ben Alexander usually plays number four board for the Ridgefield chess team. His nickname, (ever since the first practice) has been LITTLEMAN, made up by MADSKILLS. In fact no one even knew his real name until late in the season. Ben is a great chess player with a record of 3-2-1. He always has an optimistic view on winning, and adds lots of life to the team.

Peter Bregman is similar in chess capability to James Smith, but not nearly as competent in any other area, as you can probably see from the picture.  He is, however, a fairly competent sailor, and races both dingies and bigger boats, specifically a Farr 40, which belongs to his father.  You can visit his website or his boat website.
